Valley Evergreen Pharmacy is looking for a part-time clinical pharmacist. We have been a staple in the Langley Community for over 50 years that has provided comprehensive care to our assisted living patients at Inclusion Langley Society (ILS). We emphasis in practicing extensive medication management and clinical therapeutic care. We also specialize in wound and ostomy care.

day-time hours

only:

Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm) and Saturday (9am to 4pm).
Sundays and holidays

Pharmacy Specifics:

WinRX pharmacy software Opportunity to practice to full scope (injections, minor ailments assessments and prescribing, medication reviews, chronic disease management, immunizations etc.)
Key Responsibilities:

Assess, review, compound and dispense prescriptions. Provide comprehensive counselling on prescriptions and health conditions. Perform or oversee the performance of packaging, labelling, measuring, compounding, storing, charging, and recording medications used in patient care. Review prescriptions for appropriateness of therapy to determine ingredients needed and to ensure correct dosage. Demonstrate professional integrity and acting to uphold a high level of professional standard of practice.

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia Injection Certification Knowledge of the WinRX Pharmacy Computer system is an asset

Pay: $52.00-$56.00 per hour
