Fortune Creek IDA Pharmacy is independently owned and operated and proudly serves Armstrong and the surrounding area. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including in-house Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies.

Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. This pharmacy is open 9 - 6 during the week, 9-5:30 on Saturday, and 10-4 on Sundays. The staff is made up of multiple assistants, including registered techs, PCCA-trained compounding staff, and a lead assistant with over 25 years of experience and advanced diabetes training.

We DO NOT impose any quotas for clinical services upon our pharmacists.

Being independently owned and operated means you have the ability to work with the owner and management team to quickly make decisions and resolve any issues or concerns.

You will receive plenty of support from a local management team including Human Resources and scheduling support, IT support, and front store support just to mention a few areas.

We are looking for a part-time pharmacist to supplement our busy store. This would mean working a couple full or part shifts each week alongside another pharmacist.

As a Staff Pharmacist you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the pharmacy including being in compliance with all bylaws of the College of Pharmacists of B.C.

Performing clinical checks and counselling on prescriptions Supervision of the pharmacy staff Completing medication reviews, vaccines administration and other clinical services when appropriate
The successful candidate will have:

A license to be a practicing pharmacist in the province of British Columbia Good verbal and written communication skills Problem solving and conflict resolution skills Exceptional customer service skills Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task
