Staff Nurse
Job Description
Health Plus Medical Center is a busy family practice and walk in clinic looking for an LPN or RN
to work with 2 doctors in clinic.
Requirements:
- Registered and in good standing with licensing body (CLPNM, CRNM)
- Strong assessment skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of the clinic team
- Recent experience working in community medicine, family practice, or emergency medicine preferred
- Experience administering vaccinations
- Show a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Proficiency with computers. EMR Accuro is an asset
- Must be able to work all shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
Duties include:
- Physical assessments
- including gathering relevant history during the visit
- Updating charts
- Immunizations (ages 2 months and up)
- Completion of forms (EIA, Disability Tax Credit, School Accommodation forms, etc)
- SOAP charting
- Using Accuro EMR
- Other duties as discussed and tasked by the physicians
Non union
Part time to full time hours
