Job Description
We are a growing CPA firm located in the North York area and looking for a self-motivated and experienced accounting professional to join our team. We are an approved training office by CPA Ontario and the position would be ideal if you are a CPA student who is looking to obtain practical experience in the public accounting field in a friendly work environment.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Prepare and review Financial Statements-compilation, review, audit Assist in Review and Audit engagements Prepare personal tax returns (T1) and corporate tax returns (T2) Prepare payroll tax remittance, GST/HST, WSIB, and EHT return Correspondent with Canada Revenue Agency, Ministry of revenue & Workplace Safety Insurance Board behalf of clients Assist directors with ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- College and University Degree in Accounting
- 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet the tight deadlines
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
- the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- proficiency in MS and accounting software.
The salary range will be based on experience--the annual salary between $50,000 to $70,000.
