DescriptionSmall but well-established CPA Firm located in Port Coquitlam is looking to hire a Staff Accountant permanently. If you have a little hands-on experience and are looking to get your accounting career going, this is your opportunity.Location - Port Coquitlam with transit access, 100% in-officeSalary range: $45,000 - 50,000 + 10% Bonus, Paid Vacation, Benefits, Tuition SupportResponsibilities:
- Audit engagements
- Review engagements
- Notice to reader engagements
- Corporate tax return preparation
- Personal tax return preparation
- Trust and estate tax return preparation
- Monthly/annual bookkeeping including payroll and any/all regulatory filings
- CPA student, or student almost ready to enter the CPA program (late 4th year)
- Able to work independently or part of a team
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Organization skills including the ability to manage multiple engagements at once
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking
- Strong computer skills; including Microsoft office knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, CaseWare and/or TaxPrep are an asset but not required at once
