Small but well-established CPA Firm located in Port Coquitlam is looking to hire a Staff Accountant permanently. If you have a little hands-on experience and are looking to get your Accounting career going, this is your opportunity.
Location - Port Coquitlam with transit access, 100% in-office
Pay Rate: $45K + 10% Bonus, Paid Vacation, Benefits, Tuition Support
Responsibilities:
Audit engagements
Review engagements
Notice to reader engagements
Corporate tax return preparation
Personal tax return preparation
Trust and estate tax return preparation
Monthly/annual bookkeeping including payroll and any/all regulatory filings
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
CPA student, or student almost ready to enter the CPA program (late 4th year)
Able to work independently or part of a team
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong Organization skills including the ability to manage multiple engagements at once
Attention to detail
Critical thinking
Strong computer skills; including Microsoft office knowledge of Sage 50, Quickbooks, Caseware and/or Taxprep are an asset but not required at once
