- Must be able to work within deadlines and, at times, under time pressure.
- At least 2 years working in a Canadian Accounting Firm
Your responsibilities will include:
As a Senior Staff Accountant on our Assurance & Advisory Services Team you will be reporting to management, and in this growing role you will become an integral member of the assurance team working closely with our Managers and Partners. You will take an active role in planning of engagements, conducting large audit and review engagements, including the design and modification of audit procedures, as well as preparing engagement working papers, financial statements, and client correspondence. As a Senior Staff Accountant you will assist or take the lead for the training and development of more junior staff. You will supervise junior staff and review their work. You will also participate in tax planning on corporate engagements, and prepare corporate tax returns.
