Staff Accountant (Full Time, In Office - Cambridge, ON)

Salary:

$55,000-$65,000 per year

About the Role:

Join a small-but-mighty accounting team where you'll do the real work: journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR support, and making sure the numbers actually add up.
We're not your typical "wait for instructions" finance shop--expect a fast pace, a steep learning curve, and exposure to everything from cash management to process improvement.

Who You Are:

2-4 years of accounting experience (multi-entity or financial services a bonus) Excel wizard (vlookups, pivots--not just "I can open it") Bonus if you're working toward a CPA (not required) Detail-obsessed, organized, and actually meet deadlines Can survive in a team that cares about results

What You'll Do:

Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, assist with monthly close Process invoices (AP/AR), help manage cash, support audit requests Liaise with operations, payroll, and external auditors as needed Suggest ways to make things faster and smarter--if you see something broken, say it
