Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining financial records, and performing various accounting tasks.
Duties
- Preparation of compiled financial information and working papers
- Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns
- Preparing and filing GST returns
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls
- Bookkeeping whenever it requires
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using caseware, tax cycle and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
