Position Summary:

The Storage Solutions Group - SSG Sales Coordinator is a critical member of a national team, which supports the goals and contributes to the success of the sales department. You are the backbone of the department\xe2\x80\x99s success, in which you would be processing their sales orders on time. From quotations to delivery, you know what is on an order, when it\xe2\x80\x99s coming in from the manufacturer, and when the customer can expect their delivery. You have high standards to ensure that orders, costs, and invoices are accurately entered and maintained without error. The ideal candidate is highly organized and can manage high volumes of data entry, working in computer applications to order, track, log, maintain customer files. You are analytical by nature and notice the fine details to audit quotations while understanding complex order entry processes.

The Sales Coordinator is an indispensable supporter of the primary revenue-generating department: the Sales Department. Working behind the scenes, you assist our sales team to concretely deliver the excellent customer service standard to which Johnston Equipment is dedicated. Through your speed, accuracy, and serviceable attitude, you guarantee that our customers are satisfied with their experience and will continue their business with us.

  • Efficiently meet daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Maintain productive working relationships with Sales Representatives for the success of our business
  • Partnering with the sales team to ensure the sales order process is being handled smoothly from beginning to end
  • Champion the order management process while maintaining the accuracy of data sales and customer files
  • Ensure sales orders, costs, Purchase Orders, invoices are accurately entered into the business systems
  • Process supplier PO\xe2\x80\x99s related to sales orders.
  • Approve supplier invoices, confirming invoice contains correct JDE PO#, quantity, costs, per AP process for payment.
  • Monitor inventory levels at specific responsible branches.
  • Responsible for the sales invoicing & monthly forecasting at specific responsible branches.
  • Responsible for maintaining all required sales accounting documentation

  • Minimum of two years\' experience in a support role, preferably in sales
  • Organized, able to multi-task / prioritize and plan work activities
  • High attention to detail to produce accurate, high quality work
  • High sense of urgency & effective time management to meet deadlines
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills, clear & concise written and verbal skills, attentive & active listener
  • Able to work in a team environment, follow directions, with a courteous, professional manner
  • Exceptional skills within Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
