Job Title: Sr Business Analyst (Yardi)
Position Type: Contract
Location: Toronto (3-4 days onsite per week)
Salary Range: $70-$100 per hour (some flexibility)
Job ID#: 139592:Join us as the Senior Business Analyst spearheading the Yardi implementation initiative. Over 18 months, you\'ll orchestrate a seamless transition to the Yardi platform, working closely with our implementation partner, internal finance teams, and key departments. Your role will be pivotal, translating business needs into technical requirements to align with our strategic objectives.Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between our implementation partner, finance teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives, especially focusing on integrating and customizing Yardi modules such as Yardi Voyager and the Debt Module.
• Conduct comprehensive business process analyses, identifying and documenting business requirements, workflows, and system integration needs, tailoring Yardi modules to unique business processes and industry compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, requirement specifications, test plans, and user training materials tailored to module functionalities.
• Coordinate end-to-end system testing, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and identifying integration or data integrity issues.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting feedback, and collaborating with the vendor to address concerns and customization needs.
• Support end-user training, emphasizing module-specific functionalities and best practices.
• Monitor project progress, report milestones, risks, deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT and finance for system integration, data migration, and post-implementation reviews.
• Act as a point of contact for ongoing Yardi module support, enhancements, and data migration.
• Ensure all Yardi modules comply with legal and regulatory requirements and stay updated with latest features.
• Develop change management strategies for smooth system adoption, addressing potential resistance or challenges.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on implementation progress, achievements, challenges, and impact on operations.
• Establish a feedback loop with end-users post-implementation to enhance user experience and module functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Yardi software experience (MUST) and commercial real estate industry knowledge preferred.
• Experience in data migration projects, especially financial data.
• Minimum five years as a Business Analyst or similar role, with software implementation expertise.
• Strong understanding of finance operations in the sector.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to new technologies and practices.
