Sr. Wholesale/accounting Specialist

Job Description

The Senior Wholesale and Accounting Specialist works closely with our dealerships and internal finance/accounting departments to manage the administration and related accounting activities for our Kenworth and Peterbilt dealerships vehicle inventory/floorplans. This role is also responsible for tracking inventory (repossession and lease return) losses/gains, and processing sales of inventoried units as required by Corporate UESD.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Accounting Wholesale Functions + Posting monies received from dealers
+ Creating & Posting Journal Vouchers
+ Tracking Repossessions
+ Managing Write Down Journal Vouchers for Repossessions
+ Updating Greybook for Repossessions
+ Complete Write-offs, Write-downs and Into Income Tracking
+ Managing Direct Deposits and Wires
+ Set up new vendors in various systems for A/P
Wholesale Admin Functions: + Manage dealer wholesale/flooring payments and wholesale interest
+ Month End Reporting
+ Quarterly Reporting
+ Providing requested back up for audit purposes
+ Updating Prime rate changes in Wholesale system
+ Balance Wholesale Payments weekly
+ Manage Insurance and Registrations for all Flooring Dealers
+ Audit Dealer Documentation Annually

Qualifications & Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining high quality customer-service orientation. General accounting background/knowledge Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including ability to balance multiple priorities. Proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player and able to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment. 3+ years accounting experience preferably in a financial services or banking environment. At least a 4 year University (bachelor's) degree required.
