We are looking to hire a Sr. TECHNICAL WRITER for a 6 month contract opportunity.

Working closely with the project development team you will assist in writing SDLC documentation, user guides,

API developer guides, release documents on each project. Excellence in customer service, along with a

dedicated proactive attitude, is an essential component of this role. Our goal is to achieve a true balance between

quality, client satisfaction, efficiency, success and profitability.

WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING

• Writing technical documentation such as API Developer guides, SDLC documentation, Architecture documents
• Writing user guides, integration guides, release documents, etc.
• Work closely with development team
• Effectively manage the documentation stack and deliver user-focused documentation
• Provide professional client-facing documentation with excellence in version control.
• Build and maintain good strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Provide client training when needed for areas such as for content administration or other utility functions developed for the client.
• Engage, collaborate and be proactive with stakeholders to address content gaps, respond to direct customer feedback on documentation, and promote continuous improvement of the documentation experience to keep it nourished beyond the on-going update needs

WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate is expected to have senior level skills and experience in technical writing. Oh yeah, and...

4+ years as a Technical Writer or a similar role and/or you have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science,

Business Management, related field or extensive work experience equivalent.

You have a technical background or training (e.g. web development, programming, etc.).

Proficiency with markdown and GitHub repo management (planned documentation stack is to be

managed via both)

An excellent working background with Agile and Scrum Project methodologies.

Experience using JIRA, Confluence.

Technical Writing experience, in Enterprise Web-Applications, Websites or Mobile Projects.

Experience interviewing/working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand, articulate and

document both user facing and technical product information

Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable chunks of content for non-

technical users

You have good analytical and communication skills

Excellent spoken/written English

You use these terms in everyday language - API Documentation, SDLC documentation, and user guides

Experience in organizing and presenting complex information in simple visual models

Experience working in an agency or IT professional services environment.

Technical background/knowledge preferred to assist with vendor/internal process oriented documentation

alongside user facing content that can get fully technical

You\'re passionate about keeping up to date with the latest trends in technology, web and new media and

improves domain knowledge through continual professional developm
