A typical day:

Pull together and represent Downstream Manufacturing business interests on behalf of all Downstream sites through all phases of workstream initiative execution including production deployment, implementation of sustainment strategies, and long-term lifecycle management.

Engage and coordinate with key domain experts and representatives from each Downstream site and IT to develop an aligned plan, architecture, and approach for digital capability implementation related to integrated ops data management that will establish consistent patterns and methods for process data integration, data engineering, analysis, and reporting.
/li

li
Develop, retain, and steward the strategy and roadmap for digital capability growth within the data management and analytics domains, Actively lead and coordinate applicable digital initiative working groups, working with project managers and the Digital Enablement Office to drive thorough project execution and risk management.
/li

li
Business accountability for the integrated requirements and delivery of digital solutions supporting the integration and management of process and operations data from various source systems and DSM sites, Day-to-day oversight of project planning, execution, and sustainment related to operations data management and analytics solutions.
/li

li
Business ownership and custodial responsibility over integrated DSM Operations Data Management and Analytics strategy, roadmap, and plan, Detailed design approaches and architectures for data management and analytics solutions.
/li

li
Significant experience within Operations Data Management, Operations Technology systems and a deep understanding of Data Science workflows and processes - Engineering Degree preferred, Proven track record of implementing integrated Operations and Process Data Management Solutions, High operational business acumen within the Oil and Gas sector.
/li

li
Drive and ensure alignment of a cross-functional oversight team within the Digital Enablement Program governance model, Represent escalations, concerns, change requests and proposals from initiative working groups and oversight teams to the Digital Enablement Office (DEO).
/li

li
Fulfill Business ownership accountabilities for the initiatives within role purview, their long-term success, and contribution to the organization, Promote data management and data governance philosophies within the DSM organization.
/li

Successful candidates will have:

Minimum 16 years work experience within the Energy industry with special consideration given to direct upgrading and refining experience, Minimum 8 years of direct work experience with process control systems, industrial automation systems and process data management.
/li

li
BSc in Engineering or equivalent, Experience with management of large time-series data sets.
/li

li
Proven experience with large technology implementations, application deployment or system migrations, Deep technical understanding of DCS technologies, data historians, data infrastructure, process automation, cloud solutions, data engineering and data utilization /management.
/li

li
Experience with PI data historians, DataParc, and their interfaces to enterprise systems, PI AF and PI Analysis server development and support, data visualization and advanced data science platforms
/li

li
Experience with cloud solutions and/or certification specifically with AWS and Azure is an asset, Strong operational business acumen (Downstream or Upstream), Ability to influence at multiple levels and across diverse stakeholder groups.
/li

li
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups, Ability to travel on a semi-frequent basis, Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and ensure safety, Excellent project management, scheduling, and time management skills.
/li

li
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team, Ability to advance culture of performance improvement through structured work processes that are relevant, reportable, and measurable.
