SR. Sous Chef \xe2\x80\x93 Full Service

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 plus Bonus + Tip Share + Benefits + PTO

Amazing job with an amazing company! My client is a very successful full-service brand in Vancouver and with their expanding operations they have a opening for a Sr. Sous Chef at one of their highest volume locations in Downtown Vancouver.

As Sr. Sous Chef you will be responsible for the kitchen\'s routine operations for either the evening shifts. Your day will include food preparation and production. It is expected that you will adhere to standard operating procedures for food quality and ensure the kitchen is compliant with the regulatory requirements for food handling, sanitation and cleanliness. You will also be responsible for and not limited to the following duties;

  • Assisting in Scheduling, Ordering, Inventory, Budgeting, Labour Reports etc. as required by the Head Chef
  • Maintains overall cleanliness of the kitchen
  • Working stations as necessary
  • Maintaining and checking records for temperature checks and food safety guidelines
  • Mentor, train and develop the team around you
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and works well as a team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
  • Proven career stability and demonstrated continual progression
  • Must have the right to live and work in Canada
