Job SummaryWhat is the opportunity?As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting application teams in all their DevOps needs and implementation. You will be working directly with the application teams to guide, troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the CICD pipeline. You will also be involved with major migration initiative working with architects and developers.What will you do?Support app teams to migrate Nexus to ArtifactoryTroubleshoot and resolve any DevOps related issuesCreate and Debug CI CD pipeline stages writing various stagesImplement any automation or configuration needed to ensure successful integrationWrite POM and Settings from scratch and working with various code basesSet up GitHub Actions and workflow details, execution and runnersWhat do you need to succeed?Must-Have:Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experienceHands on Experience of CICD pipeline with a complete understanding of Maven, POM and super POM and an understanding for project types NPM and PyPi, .NET and MsBuildHands on experience on tools such as: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Terraform and UCD, AnsibleUnderstanding and hands on experience on:Docker and Containerization xe2x80x93 Writing Dockerfiles, Docker commandsKubernetes Clusters and their managementConcept of Deployment, Namespaces, PV/PVC in K8sHelm charts and their purpose, Deployment using Kubernetes xe2x80x93 Helm and KubectlTroubleshooting Kubernetes events, POD failures, logs, nodesNice to Have:Hands on Experience of CICD pipeline with a complete understanding of NPM or NugutWriting Declarative pipelines using GroovyExcellent Communication SkillsAgile Tools like JIRA, ServiceNowScripting Experience xe2x80x93 Groovy, Shell, PythonWhatxe2x80x99s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
