Reporting to the Senior Manager, IDS Commercial Systems, the Senior Solutions Analyst is a strong technical/functional resource who works directly with a variety of stakeholders to ensure business solutions are effectively implemented and business value is achieved. IDS Commercial includes end to end technology support for internal & external groups that serve Nutrien\'s Wholesale business including Sales, Product Management, Market Research, Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics. The Senior Solutions Analyst will interact and coordinate with internal customers, external vendors, and technical delivery teams to ensure the support, development, project delivery, and other services are efficient, accurate and timely. The Senior Solutions Analyst cultivates business relationships and coordinates efforts with business and other IT teams to ensure alignment and clear execution of the overarching business strategy.

What you will do:

• Strategic Alignment: Partner with business and other stakeholders to ensure IT services, solutions and deliverables are designed to meet business needs.
• Delivery: Ensure successful development and delivery of enhancements, improvements, and projects. Coordinate efforts with Project Managers and project teams to ensure no operational issues.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and process expertise for the solutions that support the Commercial portfolio.
• Facilitation and Reporting: Drive Monthly Scrum process to deliver on enhancements, facilitate planning sessions and produce regular reporting on outcomes.
• Daily Operations: Manage delivery of support services on a day-to-day basis.
• Problem and Defect Management: Ensure pervasive system issues are analyzed and resolved.
• Security & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with security & audit practices, guidelines, and standards.
• Collaboration: Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders on incident and service request statuses, progress, and trends.
• Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, partners, and vendors in support of business strategies and goals.
• Portfolio Planning; Provide input to IT leadership on both short-term and long-term portfolio planning in support of business strategy.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business or another relevant field.
• 6 - 8 years practical experience in application solution design and analysis
• Five or more years of experience in supporting or managing Applications.
• Experience in managing vendors, partners, suppliers and technical teams.
• Experience communicating with key stakeholders at senior levels of the organization.
• Experience working with multi-national or off-shore teams.
• Experience in functional solution design and delivery in an end-to-end development lifecycle focusing on custom development and packaged software solutions
• Proven capability and experience managing requirements gathering initiatives across multiple teams and business areas
• Experience working with AWS, SAP, Mainframe systems, Java or .NET applications considered an asset
• Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business issue. Uses influencing and negotiation skills when appropriate.
• Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team with both technical and non-technical staff
• Willingness to learn, teach and share information with teammates, peers, management and users
• Able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Results driven
