WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

We are looking for talented, highly motivated, and passionate team players to join our Portfolio Management development team to help realize our RBC Wealth Management Canada business vision. You will be directly involved in the planning, design, and delivery of functional enhancements and/or modernization efforts to meet business and technology objectives. You will be working collaboratively with members of your own team as well as across various departments to achieve desired outcomes, and to align to enterprise strategy.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Contribute to planning, estimation, and design of new features and integrations, in collaboration with Architecture and other team members to deliver complex changes.

Develop high quality software which is maintainable and supportable

Lead and drive all activities to integrate real and near real-time capabilities.

Advance development practices and maturity, and recommend improvements.

Remain current with technology, trends, techniques, and promote you expertise with other team members.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must-have

Minimum of 3 years' experience developing in Java, PL/SQL, and Java APIs.

Working knowledge of Java Spring Framework.

Working knowledge of Kafka.

3+ years working with large relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).

Experience with Shell scripting.

Nice-to-have

Working experience with ETL tools (Datastage preferred)

Investment Portfolio Management domain knowledge.

Experience designing and implementing micro-services.
