Who we are looking for :
We are looking for a Senior QA in the Video Software team, you will be involved in the software development lifecycle in our fast-paced Agile development environment who will build automated tests and work with other developers, our architect and other testers to collaboratively QA software solutions for Shaw's Video products.
What You Will Do

• Be proactive early in the software development lifecycle

• Develop test automation scripts for CI/CD

• Design & execute automated and manual tests based on requirements, design, functionality

• Produce Test documentation including but not limited to Test Plans, Manual Test Scripts, Test Reports, Defect Management and Reporting

• Use agile SCRUM boards (i.e. JIRA or similar) to track stories and raise tickets

• Give feedback to the wider technical team

• Identify defects early and ensure the quality of software

What You Bring:

• 10+ years' experience working on software teams throughout the project lifecycle

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university

• Demonstrated experience in software testing automation

• Experience with Playwright, Postman, and/or other automation testing tools

• Proficiency with Python and CI/CD

• Experience in creating and executing database queries to support testing, such as SQL

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to diplomatically advocate within organizational levels.
