We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our clients Surveying and Geomatics team in the Vancouver area. The Project Manager would act as the key contact on projects working with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff. They will coordinate with management and other project managers to secure the required resources necessary to complete project deliverables on schedule.Advantages

-Leading the development and maintenance of survey project schedules and coordinating resources
-Being responsible for monitoring budget and projecting cash flows
-Proactively supporting clients and anticipating project needs
-Reporting on project status to the client based on a format that they agree to
-Ability to effectively participate in or lead business development planning activities
-Preparing proposals, estimates, and reports in coordination with our proposal team
-Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced team members
-Ensure all survey projects and operations are performed in accordance with health, safety and environmental regulations
-Prepare and submit invoices to clients for work performed based on the accepted proposals and in accordance with internal procedures; review and revise invoices as needed in a timely manner based on draft provided by finance and administrationQualifications
-Minimum of 7 years of progressive survey work experience with exposure to Project Management or applicable transferrable experience
-Degree or Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology
-AScT certification with ASTTBC
-Proficiency in advanced software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Centre
-Proficient working knowledge of surveying techniques, practices, equipment and safety requirements
-Progressive experience in managing all aspects of project delivery
-Proficient understanding of project management resource planning and budgeting practices and techniques
-Strong time management skills and ability to work concurrently on several different projects
-Proven team management and delegation skills
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Excellent attention to detail to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work
-Experience in Utility locates, UAV/Drone, and 3D Scanning is an asset
-Previous survey field experience is an assetSummary
