Permanent Full Time-:The Wealth Management & Finance team within Individual Wealth is seeking a Senior Project Manager to help us deliver projects supporting our Individual Wealth business. This role is a match for you if you are passionate about leading a team to deliver high quality software in a hybrid agile environment.In this role you will work closely with other members of the Wealth Management & Finance business and technology teams, including senior technical specialists, developers, testers, project managers and other project partners in the delivery of working software, using standardized development processes based on industry best practices. Continuous learning, knowledge transfer and the incorporation of DevOps tools and processes is extremely important to the success of this team.The Senior Project Manager applies their advanced knowledge and experience in managing large and complex projects and teams in the Individual Wealth Division.At our company, the customer is at the center of what we do. We care about the financial, physical, and mental well-being of our customers and our staff.What you will do:Responsible for leading large and high risk/complex Wealth Management and Finance projects, working with business and technology leaders, cross functional teams, project team members and external parties to ensure projects are well-defined, planned and delivered.

  • Demonstrates business and technical acumen to ensure deliverables and expected outcomes align with the Business Case.
  • Provides coaching and mentorship on Project Management and project delivery methodologies and practices to less experienced Project Managers.
  • Works closely with the project sponsor and delivery leader to develop the project charter, including defining the project scope, objectives, approach, measures of success, stakeholder engagement and communication plan.
  • Develops integrated project plans demonstrating strong financial and project acumen (including cost estimates, budget, resourcing requirements), applying appropriate estimation models, and refine and manage performance against them, customizing project planning methods to suit the project.
  • Manages project budgets and costs, and provides estimates and forecasts, including competent analysis of capitalization, amortization, and expense management.
  • Engages & collaborates with governance stakeholders to ensure compliance of product towards corporate risk profile and standards and organizational governance processes.
  • Performs risk planning and analysis (qualitative & quantitative), including risk identification and risk response planning.
  • Executes, tracks and monitors progress to plan and communicates the appropriate project information to all relevant project team members and stakeholders.
  • Contributes to and adapts to organizational change, best practice, and improvements across teams, including the effective implementation and adherence to changes in processes and practices.
  • Looks for and implements opportunities to improve team efficiencies.
What you will bring:
  • 10+ years as a Project Manager in a technology delivery environment.
  • Ideal candidate has experience working with investment fund products and operating systems.
  • Proven experience in delivering large complex projects involving multiple departments, vendors, external partners in the delivery of solutions requiring integration of multiple tools and technologies.
  • Proven ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with business leaders, peers, clients, and team will work transparently and cooperatively with cross-functional teams, effectively engaging all pertinent stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Challenges the status quo and exhibits a mindset of creativity, determination, and an energetic drive to succeed. Highly motivated, an independent thinker and has a proven track record of setting and meeting aggressive goals and actions plans, both as an individual and with a team.
  • Demonstrates change leadership by successfully guiding the organization through change, while maintaining focus, intensity, and team cohesion. A confident leader with low ego who has an ability to challenge and defend positions in a respectful way and is viewed as a visible leader, capable of building and articulating a shared vision for change.
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills; ability to create \'win-win\' outcomes and to obtain support of executive-level management and elicit cooperation and consensus across the business; demonstrated ability to collaborate as well as lead across a matrix organization to execute on strategies, influence change and deliver results.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills and apply creative thinking to solve problems while understanding the organization\'s vision, purpose, and values.
  • Demonstrated management of full project lifecycle for multiple initiatives or workstreams varying in complexity and stakeholders, ensuring the effective execution of large or complex projects to deliver a product or solution that satisfies stakeholder expectations and achieves project success criteria (schedule, budget, team cohesion, regulatory, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous environment and to adapt to changes quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and make good decisions or recommendations in ambiguous or difficult situations.
-The base salary for this position is between $61000- $ 114000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
