Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Project Manager (Contract) to assist with ongoing workload and project management. The PM will focus on project management, organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, change management, and internal coordination, leveraging ITIL, PMP, and ADKAR frameworks. Additionally, the PM will assist with coordinating process engineering and business architecture efforts to ensure seamless process integration and alignment with ServiceNow capabilities.

Responsibilities



Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters; Define project objectives, scope, deliverables and budgetary requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals; Develop and maintain detailed project plans, visual diagrams, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones; Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle; Stay current with emerging technologies and project management tools, industry trends, and best practices in IT project management; Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment; Facilitate effective communication and ensure stakeholders are informed about project status, risks, and changes; and Support development of project management procedures and tools, evaluate project outcomes, conduct post-implementation reviews, and identify lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications



Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification; Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a government or public sector environment; Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques; Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience Working with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban); Proficiency in project management software, collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office suite; and Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $65.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
