THE OPPORTUNITY

We\'re looking for an experienced, hands-on, and curious product marketer who knows the cloud space - someone who is creative and comfortable charting a new path. Are you passionate about sales technology and ready to make a big impact? If so, read on!

You will be responsible for shaping and driving GTM strategy for Xactly\'s Intelligent Revenue Platform. We\'re looking for someone with a strong technical understanding of the value cloud technologies deliver for customers, who can also zoom out to maintain a bigger picture view and can distill complex concepts into humanized language that resonates with real people.

THE TEAM

Xactly\'s Product Marketing team sits within the Product Strategy function, and is home to a lively, tight-knit group of experienced operators, GTM Strategists, Product Management subject matter experts, and closely collaborates with Xactly brand, demand, sales, customer success and other GTM functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

GTM Strategy:

  • Closely align with product management to ensure a clear understanding of product roadmap and represent the voice of the customer
  • Develop and execute data-informed, strategic GTM plans focused on driving company results including launch planning, market research, content/collateral creation, ideal customer profile identification, use case research, and sales enablement
  • Work with product management and marketing teams to set, monitor and achieve financial and market objectives
  • Track product usage trends to inform product development, pricing/packaging decisions, content creation and pipeline acceleration collateral
Messaging and Positioning:
  • Leverage your deep understanding of our buyers\' needs and competitive landscape research to build a compelling narrative for our products and services
  • Create compelling positioning and messaging frameworks to articulate our unique value propositions and sufficiently differentiate our products in the market
  • Partner with Xactly Marketing to define the most effective routes to market, and synthesize market data to support marketing optimization
  • Collaborate with Product Strategy to bring our differentiated story to life through thought leadership, content marketing, and other effective tactics to support pipeline acceleration.
Enablement:
  • Be the subject matter expert for the Intelligent Revenue Platform suite, helping to develop and deliver sales enablement resources (sales decks, product overviews, demo videos, case studies, etc.) and training across GTM stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure top of funnel success (e.g., demand generation, content marketing, events, webinars, AR/PR)
SKILL SET / QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of working experience, including 4+ years working in a product marketing role preferred
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high comfort level presenting at webinars, conferences and industry events
  • Attention to detail and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into concise buyer-facing language
  • Strong knowledge of positioning and messaging for hi-tech, SaaS and cloud topics
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute GTM strategies and deliverables such as positioning/messaging, pitch decks, sales playbooks, thought leadership content, social, emails, etc.
  • Critical thinking skills and inquisitive mindset for business and market analysis
  • Proven success working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and customer success teams to support company-wide alignment and ensure flawless execution
  • Experience with other types of marketing (content, field, demand gen, partner) or B2B sales is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to set own direction
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU\'LL
  • Attend robust onboarding program and get up to speed on who we are, what we do and how we do it
  • Familiarize yourself with our comprehensive company tech stack
  • Build relationships with internal business partners including product management, marketing, sales and customer success
  • Gain a strong understanding of our Intelligent Revenue Platform and the business value Xactly provides
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU\'LL
  • Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don\'t know
  • Begin to develop strategies to drive positioning and GTM enablement for the Xactly\'s solutions
  • Understand the customer\'s point of view and begin to position our solutions in a way that resonates with their needs
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU\'LL
  • Begin to implement the vision that you have been developing over the past six months for the Intelligent Revenue Platform product suite
  • Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide
  • Begin to connect products/solutions to big picture themes, and deliver creative ideas to amplify the unique value and position of products
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU\'LL
  • Become a thought leader in the industry with customers, prospects and other influential stakeholders
  • Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen

The compensation range is specific to the United States and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is Canadian $95,000 - $120,000 plus the applicable bonus.

Applications will be accepted only for those currently residing in the posted country for this role. There is no expectation of approval for an international relocation for this job .
