Job Summary

As a Senior MS SQL Database Administrator (DBA) / Migration Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, executing, and optimizing the migration of Microsoft SQL databases to AWS cloud.

. Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of databases. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to databases and data processing. Maintain database migration documentation. Develop and maintain data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and other IT professionals to design and implement solutions that integrate with migrated databases.

Experience

(must-have)

8+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL database administration. 4+ years of experience in AWS RDS for Microsoft SQL database administration. Experience with database migration tools and best practices. Experience with database programming languages SQL and T-SQL. Experience with data modeling, schema design, and normalization. Experience with backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery technologies. Experience with database security and access control. Experience with performance tuning and optimization. Experience in AWS
Education

Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
