Senior Mechanical Designer

to contribute to our continued success. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in mechanical design, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to quality. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated mechanical systems and assemblies, working closely with our engineering team to deliver solutions that meet the high standards of our diverse clientele.

Job Duties and Specific Responsibilities:

Develop mechanical designs of custom automated equipment for various applications Develop equipment drawings and bills of materials using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Develop overall assembly, layout, and detail drawings using 3D CAD software Work with trades people to assist in questions about the design during manufacturing Research components to use in your custom designs to best fit the application, including working with different suppliers An exceptional ability to complete detailed work with accuracy Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude Good Communication skills Strong problem-solving skills, reliable, works within tight timelines

Qualifications:

Educational background in Mechanical Engineering with Robotics and Automation experience. 4+ years of experience in Automation environment 2D and 3D CAD design experience Proficiency in SolidWorks Must have knowledge of drafting principles
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$38.00 per hour
