The Hard Discount Strategy & Customer Insights team partners with divisional and enterprise teams to create data-driven insights and develop strategies that advance our divisional priorities. We are hiring a Senior Manager, Strategy & Customer Insights to accelerate our insight generation capabilities and elevate the impact of our Strategy team across a broad range of divisional initiatives.


What You'll Do:

Find new ways to improve revenue, profitability, and market share performance for the Hard Discount division. Partner with a wide range of teams to develop and deliver against our divisional strategic initiatives. Create actionable thought leadership that leads to tangible action and positive results. Develop analytical and strategic frameworks to improve how we approach merchandising, promotional, and operational initiatives. Present recommendations to senior leadership teams and partner with stakeholders to deliver against those recommendations.

What You Bring:

Post-secondary education - Business, Finance, Math/Statistics, Analytics plus minimum 3-5 years of Strategy/Analytics experience preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to interpret and synthesize data across multiple sources. High Degree of Influence: demonstrated ability to generate action from recommendations. Self-starter: demonstrated initiative and willingness to take ownership and learn. Team player: demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability of building compelling presentations. Detail oriented and strong time management skills. Technical Skills: + Advanced MS Office skills in Excel and PowerPoint required
+ Experience with SQL and GCP BigQuery is an asset
+ Experience with Python, SAS, R and VBA is an asset
+ Experience working with Nielsen is an asset
