Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting a Senior Manager, Strategy & Execution to assist in the execution of our Global Technology strategy. This will include development of Technology objectives, vision and strategy plans, and identification of the organization strengths and weaknesses including competitor reviews.

The candidate will be tasked with ensuring that the Global Technology Team is prepared with content for all executive presentations and special projects. This manager will be responsible for the development of priorities and ensuring proper alignment across a wide body of stakeholders, driving key strategic initiatives, and launch enterprise-wide initiatives.

They will collaborate on a wide range of topics and gain exposure to a wide range of functions across finance, operations, marketing, and HR. They will also have the opportunity to learn from many senior leaders and technology experts.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Partner with business and technology leaders to help solve McCain\'s most difficult challenges, transform mindsets, unlock capabilities, and map the path to the next normal
  • Develop compelling insights and recommendations through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • In collaboration with the various teams within Technology, corporate strategy and other senior leaders, manage and implement the planning process for technology strategic initiatives.
  • Manage proper tracking, reporting, and communication of the technology operational plan that stems from the technology strategic plan; as well as key technology initiatives to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the CTIO and the Technology leadership team on key initiatives to design, lead and implement special projects.
  • Support the technology vision and strategic pillars - fostering the spirit of people development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Work with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and linkage to the Technology Strategy.
  • Prepare content of all Executive meetings related to Global Technology.
  • Create and monitor strategic metrics to support assessment of progress against the Technology Strategy, Vision, and overall Technology Operations.
Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects:
  • Develop and maintain structured inventory of critical priorities/activities of interest to Global Technology.
  • Work with appropriate stakeholders, including outside parties, to undertake analyses.
  • Present findings to Senior Leadership Team as appropriate.
  • Oversee, if necessary, transfer of project to other stakeholders in the organization.
  • Present ideas for special projects that might advance the Global Technology objectives.
  • Scope, plan, and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround projects and requests with minimal outside assistance.
Cross Functional Collaboration and Engagement:
  • Preparation and facilitation of Team meetings and Strategic Business Reviews.
  • Work with other functions (i.e, Finance) to prepare and run items to ground prior to meeting with Global Technology. Understand business requests, ask critical questions and connect the dots where necessary.
  • Remain apprised of / schedule upcoming Global Technology commitments
  • Lead cross functional discussions across the Global Tech and Digital Function. Ensure corporate and CEO submissions are orchestrated
Strategic Communications:
  • Ensure appropriate and timely communication within function
  • Ensure meetings have clearly defined agendas, objectives, and participants to facilitate agility and decision making
  • Prepare background for Global Technology in advance of meetings, where required.
  • Ensure participants are clear on expectations, prepared for meetings, including advance distribution of materials.
  • Participate in meetings and ensure that meeting action items are captured, distributed identified with owners and timing assigned.
  • Follow-up on action items to monitor progress and drive closure.
It is expected that this role will provide the platform for the successful candidate to then transition into a more senior role after a two-year period. Future roles could be operational, functional, or more of a P&L leadership position, depending on the interest and capability of the individual.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration) is required. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of technology solutions, including software, hardware, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently and deliver within deadlines.
  • Data-driven and highly analytical:
  • Ability to analyze data and draw recommendations / conclusions.
  • Capability to have an independent point of view; confident in presenting a point-of-view at senior levels.
