The opportunity
CWB\xe2\x80\x99s Senior Manager, Equipment Marketing, plays a leadership role in the development, implementation, oversight and evaluation of effective marketing and advertising strategies, programs and campaigns that generate brand awareness and achieve business objectives. Focused on new-to-bank client acquisition and deepening the share of wallet of existing clients, this individual is responsible for digital marketing, website, brand and product advertising, merchandising, and all other marketing-related activities for CWB\xe2\x80\x99s equipment business. The Senior Manager, Equipment Marketing, also provides direct oversight and support-based leadership to drive team effectiveness, facilitate strong internal and external stakeholder management, and provide exceptional client partner service to ensure organizational success.
Accountabilities
Strategy & Financial Management
Leverage CWB Financial Group\xe2\x80\x99s corporate strategy to establish targeted, innovative marketing approaches that support business growth in full-service client relationships, loans and brand awareness.
Work with the AVP, Marketing and PR to plan, forecast, allocate and control marketing non-interest expenses (NIEs), reviewing regularly to maintain NIEs within budget in consideration of expected revenue growth and provide reasonable explanations for over/out-of-budget items.
Accountability for all advertising, media purchasing and promotional activities including primary contact for third party relationships.
Forecast and proactively manage reputational risk. Support CWB\xe2\x80\x99s ongoing compliance with all risk, regulatory, privacy, CDIC and Bank Act requirements as it relates to assigned products, services and marketing activities.
Prepare reports for management, as required.
Marketing & Advertising
Drive the prioritization and development of integrated marketing communications strategies, initiatives and messages to build brand equity for CWB\xe2\x80\x99s equipment business in target markets.
Translate data and analytics into real time marketing client engagement strategies that build brand and share of business.
Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing strategy for CWB\xe2\x80\x99s equipment business, ensuring alignment with CWB Financial Group\xe2\x80\x99s vision, brand promise and desired client experience. Accountable for desired results.
Oversee the development, execution and evaluation of digital marketing activities, including, organic search, paid marketing, email marketing, lead generation, tracking and analytics.
Work with CWB\xe2\x80\x99s Manager, External Communications to coordinate delivery of engaging content across all channels.
Partner with internal teams responsible for brand, market and client research to ensure all strategies and initiatives consider Voice of the Client insights, industry best practices and, geographic, demographic and psychographic trends.
Develop and maintain a robust understanding of the client, market and industry to deliver marketing innovation to support stated objectives and financial results.
Collaborate with business leadership from across CWB Financial Group to identify and execute on cross-promotional opportunities that leverage complementary business lines.
Work with product development, sales effectiveness, internal communications, and learning and development to ensure effective, value-add communications and training across the frontline for products, services, and client-focused activities.
