The Loyalty finance team is focused on supporting the Loyalty team and Loblaw retail divisions to drive financial and strategic initiatives related to the PC Optimum program.

The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Loyalty Finance, is responsible for providing management reporting and analysis to Loblaw retail divisions as to the performance of the PC Optimum program. In addition, the Manager is responsible for the administration and reporting of the vendor and partner funded-programs related to PC Optimum. The successful candidate will contribute to periodic reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting and review of strategic initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze the performance of the Loyalty program
  • Prepare and consolidate financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans
  • Monitor and analyze the Loyalty program\'s profit and loss statements
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports
  • Prepare and review periodic, quarterly, and annual financial results for review with senior management
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to auditors
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement appropriate controls
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with operational strategies
  • Collaborate with program management to analyze and optimize Loyalty program performance
  • Provide financial guidance and insights to drive program enhancements
  • Oversee financial aspects of new loyalty initiatives, including accounting structure and implementation
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure accurate accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting for loyalty offerings
  • Manage and development of financial analyst, providing mentorship and feedback to enhance their professional growth
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) is preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial controls
  • Experience in managing profit and loss statements and financial reporting processes
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
  • Audit experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
