Our client operates global markets and builds digital communities and analytic solutions and are looking to hire a Sr. Manager - GRC

About the Opportunity

Looking for a senior GRC professional who is highly proficient and has strong experience working in banking/finance/investment/wealth management industry

This person will lead a team of 5 professionals (advisory level) who are responsible for ensure that the organization is aligned and in sync with the security/GRC roadmap created by this senior manager

They have a separate security operations team who are responsible for getting the work done and implement all the policies designed/created by this GRC team

Hence working with operations team, business and vendors is very critical

Need to have hands on experience with GRC to lead and guide they with daily tasks/operation

This GRC team covers the business operation, technology, security operation (with the help of DELL), supporting IAM/infra security/cyber security/, etc

They are an agile environment and multiple projects like AI, onboarding new clients, etc.

This is a very important team as they want to keep themselves protected and secured from various threats

Anything wrong with TMX system, the entire Canadian financial system will go down in 3 days

About You

Highly proficient with Cyber security \xe2\x80\x93 with regards to creating policies/standards for GRC.

Creating KPIs and KRIs to measure security performance (incident, threats, etc.)

Experience working in financial industry / wealth / investment management, trading companies, etc.

People manage is required - min 4 people

Need to have strong hands on exp with information security best practices and a niche understanding of the business areas control and information security environment

Self starter and strong communicator. Be able to find their way within the company, they have documentation, but not everything is defined, one needs to work in a collaborative industry

Salary Range

$135,000/year
