This role reports to Director, Subscriber Forecast and Analytics. The team is responsible for determining market sizing of Wireless Subscribers and share expectations and forecasting brand mixes of key subscriber metrics.

The Senior Manager, Forecasting and Analytics, will be accountable for driving and evolving forecasting models and sharing insights to support the overall Wireless customer lifecycle and acquisition strategy, with the goal of improving business growth and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be strategic, command a strong business acumen and have analytical skills to help bring the story to life.

What you\'ll do:

  • Consolidate RCI level subscriber forecasts for distribution to the business and finance counterparts
  • Manage a team of up to 3 people to provide support to finance counterparts and business owners.
  • Deliver superior subscriber volume reporting, forecasting and insights
  • Innovate the analytical framework and model of subscriber forecasting metrics, constantly improving alignment with market changes.
  • Understand and model port vs non-port dynamics with the help of the Comlink tool
  • Partner with wireless cross-functional teams to develop budget and quarterly commit forecast on subscribers based on solid market assumptions
  • Continue to develop regional subs model and lead regional discussions with brand leads and regional primes.
  • Produce quarterly waterfalls to understand upcoming risks & opportunities
  • Support development and build of our forecasting models in a new tool purchased by Rogers in an effort to better align with hardware teams and manage inventory implications.
What you\'ll bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing planning or Analytical intermediate to senior role with a preference given to Forecasting experience
  • University degree or equivalent in economics, business, or marketing;
  • 3+ years of experience in team managing and talent development
  • Team player, persuasive with the ability to collaborate and lead through influence
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills to all levels of audience with proven ability to communicate effectively to senior leadership team.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing relationships in a leadership capacity
  • Analytical thinker to develop insights from raw data
  • Telecommunications experience an asset
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office suite. Thinkcell and tableau.
  • Practical experience in manipulating large datasets and working effectively with different data sources
  • Proficient in statistics and business/financial analysis
  • Solid organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment to provide results
  • Good work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and with teams
