The Senior Manager for Data Engineering & Integrations is responsible for leading the capability and cross-functional team of data engineering and integration functions to design and deliver the modernization of integration architecture, while enabling a data engineering capability as part of the Data, Automation & AI products and services. In this role, you will lead the strategic and technical capabilities across leading a refreshed integration architecture, enabling the data engineering capability in delivering data products & services as part of the Data, Automation & AI team. This role will champion an Agile delivery mindset working in transparency and collaboration across business & technology teams.
What You\'ll Do:
  • Lead and mentor the Data Engineering and Integrations teams with the ability bring technical and architecture leadership in aligning to industry best practices and lead our data engineering and integration capabilities to business enabling products and services.
  • Collaborate with and align across business and technical outcomes.
  • Develop new techniques and data pipelines that will enable various insights for internal and external customers.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, including business partners/use case owners an across the Data, Automation & AI capability team in managing an effective integration and data architecture.
  • Design a data engineering and integrations roadmap and implement and action from User stories to Task details.
  • Lead and mentor the Data Engineering and Integrations teams.
  • Oversee and ensure documentation practices of Data Engineering and Integrations solutions from Solution Design Documentation to Common accepted pattern practices.
  • Own end-to-end data pipelines from start to storage and end-user consumption working closely with the Teams within the Data, Automation & AI - Data Operations & Governance, BI Enablement, Automation & AI.
  • Oversee and Manage 3rd-party and internal Systems Integration architecture across CG\xe2\x80\x99s including ensuring modern integration patterns are followed in including functional, security, performance, quality and operational requirements.
  • Establish and enforce a API/Integration standard and provide mentorship to the cross-functional teams and delivery PODs to ensure a common and aligned integration pattern is followed.

Qualifications
Let\'s Talk About You:
  • Minimum of bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related quantitative field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in quantitative related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience for a minimum of 10 years in a Data engineering and/or Integration role, with 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • A leader in data warehousing best practices, with hands on experience developing large-scale data engineering pipelines with effective integration architectures.
  • Experience designing and developing data lake, data warehouse, ETL and task orchestrating systems (Azure experience and Data Engineering and/or Azure Administrator certification preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD, data architectures, pipelines, quality, and code management.
  • Experience with common data languages (e.g. Python, Scala) and data warehouses (e.g. Azure synapse, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in Modern Cloud Data architectures.
  • Experience creating, testing, and supporting production software and systems.
  • Proven track record of identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks for production systems and its integrations.
  • Experience leading teams developing production-grade data pipelines (using Spark, Flink, dbt, etc.)
  • Expert level SQL and database management/administration in modern cloud data architectures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
