What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

You\xe2\x80\x99ll manage a team at the heart of CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Senior Manager, within Capital Markets Enterprise Solutions you\xe2\x80\x99ll oversee the ideation and implementation of easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of support services, and ensure adherence to standards and operating procedures.

How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Succeed

• Understanding Requirements \xe2\x80\x93 Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate, and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
• People Leadership \xe2\x80\x93 Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.
• Relationship Management \xe2\x80\x93 Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements.

Who You Are

• You can demonstrate experience leading a team of developers and are a seasoned professional with the ability to coach and help develop other team members. You are a code quality champion with hands-on experience in SW Design using SOLID Design principles. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone with a pulse on innovative technology; Deep understanding of testing practices such as: TDD, ATDD, BDD; DevOps principles and best practices; Hands on experience designing and developing applications, Microservices and REST API\xe2\x80\x99s and Technical experience with: C#, .Net, .Net Core, SQL, REACT, ElasticSearch. It\xe2\x80\x99s an Asset if: You have good understanding of Capital Markets products and experience with Azure Cloud. Must have knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.
• You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
