**Please note: Sr. Graphic Designer is a full-time position with 50% flexible schedules working in office and from home.

The Sr. Graphic Designer is responsible for developing complex creative concepts and producing layouts, images, and multi-media content to fulfill all AMA\xe2\x80\x99s external advertising needs and also inform internal communications. Conceiving and designing visual concepts and motion graphic solutions that are diverse and fresh solutions for various audiences. Creating forward thinking designs that are member/customer centric driven and meet business goals. Applying current design, prepress and colour principles. Understanding Brand development and Brand guidelines, pre-press production standards, and some video production/editing are required.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO
  • Report to Director, Creative Agency.
  • Manage multiple projects at one time, assisting team in establishing visual tone, character, and messaging to effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of graphic design, UX/UI design, typography, and design systems to inform visual design.
  • Develop creative, effective, and original communications, advertising layouts and a range of visual design.
  • Visually reflect the goals and objectives of marketing and advertising plans, develop marketing and advertising tactics/strategies.
  • Assist in archiving all creative assets to ensure easy access.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Contributes to the overall creative direction of AMA while ensuring all marketing materials stay on Brand.
WHAT YOU\'VE DONE
  • You have a university degree in Visual Design, Multimedia Communications or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in an advertising agency, digital agency, or in-house retail creative team.
  • You have high a degree of competency with digital, static, and motion design and strong conceptual development skills, with a focus on creating clear, member/consumer-centric themes.
  • You have excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other related design software with the ability to procure and edit images that enhance conceptual themes.
  • You have strong skills in PowerPoint and Keynote, as well as various experience in video editing and animation.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re a masterful communicator, excelling in written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • You demonstrate competence in managing deliverables and meeting project timelines.
