Responsibilities:

  • Help customers focus on their goals and drive the ideal implementation solution architecture, taking into consideration Suite Synergy opportunities.
  • Own by either leading or supporting all design/architecture aspects of implementation and complete all Coupa P2P configuration components (functional design discussions, map business processes to best practice solutions, Coupa system setup, move-to-production, etc.).
  • Provide P2P functional expertise to customers during the implementation.
  • Provide strong functional understanding of our platform with the ability to discuss and demonstrate Suite Synergy and how the system may be configured to meet a customer’s business needs.
  • Work with the Coupa engagement managers and partners on Coupa implementations in designing the optimal end-to-end procurement solution design that will enable customers to successfully realize the value of their Coupa P2P deployment.
  • Engage customers in enlightened business needs and process-driven discussions versus feature/function basics.
  • Facilitate design and architecture reviews and deliver design risk assessment reports.
  • Forge strong partnerships with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional area with specific focus on Invoicing, and provide subject matter expertise to colleagues, partners and customers.
  • Develop/improve and maintain P2P implementation documentation (best practices, templates, training, presentations) within your areas of expertise and be a champion for their adoption.
  • Collaborate with documentation, training, and product management teams internally within your area of expertise.
  • Follow Coupa implementation methodology for all customers and tailor to meet each customer’s unique business needs.
  • Share relevant prior experiences with customers and colleagues.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues where needed.
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off the client site.
  • Manage customers where up to 25% of your time may include travel.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years’ experience with systems delivery, with emphasis on packaged software product implementation.
  • 5-10 years’ of senior consulting experience as part of a product company, systems integration consultancy and/or -forward-facing customer experience.
  • 5-10 years experience in Procure-to-Pay. Hands-on knowledge of Coupa or other E-Procurement solutions is highly desirable.
  • Previous senior consulting experience with the following applications is a solid predictor of success: SAP Ariba, Basware, Ivalua, GEP.
  • Strongly prefer a background/experience with one or both E-Invoicing and Global Compliance areas.
  • Experience with Expense Management and/or Spend Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience prototyping, demonstrating, configuring and delivering software solutions are required.
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Extremely strong client management skills and be able to guide customers on best practice driven design processes that lead towards a rapid, successful go-live.
  • Showing good judgment, problem solving and ability to interpret/adapt solutions or approaches when formulating responses to issues or concerns.
  • Self-starter and quick learner, ability to work autonomously, ability to learn from others, from documentation, from demos, from hands-on configuration with our software.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changes in a fast paced and passionate environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability/experience to manage multiple simultaneous Enterprise projects.
  • Ability to present complex information in a comprehensible manner (written, process flows, graphics).
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • May require some flexibility in working hours due to global nature of the role.
