The team implements and manages a set of solutions to support process automations for legal compliance and service the development community and stakeholders in SAP.The Sr. Software Developer will work within the GTLC development team. Prior legal compliance knowledge is not required for this position. As a member of the GTLC, you are a self-starter and will work in a dynamic environment to maintain our automation solutions that have been serving as the critical cornerstones to the SAP legal compliances solutions. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with other talented engineers to build solutions by leveraging cloud native development practices and AI technologies.The successful candidate for this position is a team player, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrates strong software design and development practices.Expectations and TasksAs a full-stack developer in our team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to hands-on coding, design, and architecture that is best suited for our software compliance requirements and performance targets.
  • Deep dive into CICD and infrastructure topics
  • Collaborate in a team environment that extends to colleagues in other locations and from various lines of businesses within the company.
  • Communicate and guide team members to develop high quality solutions in terms of code quality, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Assess new technology, tools, and infrastructure to keep up with the rapid pace of change.
  • Embrace lean and agile software development principles.
  • Enhance existing skills and get new ones in GenAI research and engineering.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent university education in computer science or engineering with 5+ years of experience developing full-stack enterprise class software.
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring, experience designing RESTful API\'s
  • Knowledge of React or Angular
  • Experience with database management, configuring, managing, and monitoring CICD pipelines deployed via Kubernetes, automation, build technologies, GCP/Azure/AWS, HelmChart, Terraform, ArgoCD, Redis/Neo4j/Postgres/CouchDB/Kafka.
  • Working knowledge of testing framework.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of scripting language, i.e. Bash, Python, and Perl.
  • Knowledge of large platform & infrastructure software (e.g. Docker, OpenStack, CloudFoundry, etc.)
