Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sr. FP& A Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this long-term role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business optimization efforts. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Conduct scenario analyses, such as evaluating percentage changes in salaries, to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with union representatives and organizational stakeholders to address financial priorities during scheduled meetings.
  • Calculate and compile comprehensive cost estimates for various organizational initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc financial requests and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide analytical support to optimize business operations, including the review and enhancement of existing models.
  • Partner with external consultants, such as Deloitte, to create and refine advanced financial models.
  • Perform financial analysis outside standard modelling to address unique business challenges.
  • Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines, including occasional overtime when required.
  • Support budgeting and planning processes through data-driven insights and reporting.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with business systems such as CRM platforms, Confluence, and data mining techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and refine financial models.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports, to generate clear and reliable outputs.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A detail-oriented and adaptable mindset, suited to a fast-paced and growing organizational environment.
