Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to play a key role in developing and implementing financial policies, systems, and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, estimates, summaries, and other financial analyses and management reports.

\xc2\xb7 Manage and maintain the financial system, including the Chart of Accounts, general ledger, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, deposits, reconciliation, posting, and batching.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with the year-end process and preparation of year-end working papers to ensure a smooth financial year-end closure.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures in accordance with not-for-profit sector standards.

\xc2\xb7 Provide audit assistance as required, collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
