Job Description
Sr. Field Service Engineer
Field Service Engineers need for traveling to customer locations or assigned sites. Responsible for all on-site installations, startup, diagnosis, service, and repair of equipment. Act as liaison with customers on administrative, technical, operational, and maintenance issues.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate and perform on-site installation and repair of equipment with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical problems.
- Interface with factory & customer during all phases of installation.
- Be able to sell equipment modifications, upgrades, or service contracts.
- Continuously instruct customer operators in the proper use, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Maintain and clean mechanical systems and assemblies.
- Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals during the installation, debugging, and repair of equipment at certain customer sites.
- Knowledge of Semiconductor Equipment and/or parts
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in Electronics
- 6+ years' experience or combination of experience and education.
