Sr Engineering Manager - Frostbite

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Animation as Senior Engineering Manager.

You will

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to build execution plans for the roadmap
• Take ownership of the roadmap delivery, ensuring successful project management, people management and smooth change management
• Foster a quality culture within the team
• Provide guidance to engineers on the team in their career development
• Contribute to the recruitment and expansion of the team, attracting top talent and cultivating a diverse and inclusive environments
• Help establish and enforce software development best practices to ensure efficient and high-quality output
• Collaborate with the Technical Director to understand the local and global architectural implications are understood
• Collaborate with other leaders in Frostbite to share and promote best practices across the organization
• Create a culture of diversity to empower teams by promoting an inclusive environment where all opinions are heard
• Report to the Director of Engineering within the product area

• 5+ experience in a similar role managing people, projects and teams
• 7+ experience of hands-on experience in software development
• BSc degree in Computer Science or related academic programme
• Professional programming experience (C++)

• Knowledge or experience in game engine development
• Knowledge of latest animation technologies
• 3+ years of experience with complex codebase
• Knowledge with DCC tool like Maya
• Professional programming experience with C# tool development
• Passion for video games
