Senior Electrical Engineer - (Cory, SK, CA)

This positionsupervises a small group of Engineers/Technologists.

What you will do:

Own the surface electrical power and distribution, instrumentation, electric motors, control, automation, cathodic protection and communication systems Provide proactive leadership and planning to ensure site safety and plant reliability for the above areas Provide technical expertise for projects Develop, maintain, and own electrical standards and design documents Collaborate with site Operations, Maintenance, Process, Projects, Management and Corporate teams to achieve site and company targets Lead and manage the surface electrical technical team Provide support and direction to ensure site adherence to Nutrien's Workplace Electrical Safety Guidance Document

What you will bring:

P. Eng is required 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in the mining industry Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to safety Strong knowledge of varied electrical equipment and technical advances in the field Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and technical schematics Electrical design and implementation of power and annunciation systems Operations and Maintenance technical knowledge Maintenance and design of modern control systems and related IT infrastructure Engineering, maintenance, project, and/or operations experience at an operating facility or heavy industrial site is considered an asset
