Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, with a strong emphasis on system design and development. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative electrical solutions for various projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Duties

Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for creating detailed schematics and models. Conduct signal processing analysis and system design using MATLAB and Python to optimize performance. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems within mechanical designs, leveraging mechanical knowledge for effective solutions. Develop firmware for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other embedded systems, ensuring robust functionality. Perform debugging and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Lead projects from conception through manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Mentor junior engineers in best practices for electrical engineering design and development.

Skills

Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation. Strong knowledge of ANSYS for simulation purposes. Experience with C++ programming for embedded systems development. Familiarity with CAD tools for schematic capture and layout design. Understanding of scripting languages such as Perl for automation tasks. Solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, including system design and manufacturing processes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions in electrical engineering applications.
