We Are Hiring! Sr. CNC Programmer, Custom Architectural Millwork / Woodworking



MUST HAVE MILLWORK/WOODWORKING Experience!

This position not an IT role.


Under the supervision of the Programming Manager, you will be responsible for creating panel saw, CNC (3 & 5 axis) and assembly programs for Production. Must be able to interpret Released for Fabrication shop drawings and provide all the supporting documents for production. These production documents include but are not limited to cut lists, production drawings, CNC programs, etc.

Main Responsibilities



Interpret millwork drawings in order to create models based on approved shop drawings using 3D software Microvellum Create panel saw, CNC and assembly programs and cut lists Create supplementary production drawings to support production Provide production data for machine operators Work with production to ensure quality completion of projects, in line with scheduled deadlines. Work in a fast-paced environment Communicate with the department heads and CNC operators during assignments and resolution of machining, production, or quality issues

Software Requirements



Microvellum

(1 years+) preferred or experienced in

SWOOD

(Inventor or other similar programs)

AutoCAD

(Advanced) Excel (Proficient - Advanced) CNC 5 Axis (considered as an asset)

Education



University Degree or Trade School Diploma in a related subject Trade Certificate in Millwork an asset

Work Experience



5+ years recent relevant CAD/CAM CNC programming experience within custom millwork/woodworking industry

Other Qualifications



Ability to work in a team environment Ability to communicate (in writing, verbal, and schematic) Familiar with cabinet fabrication Able to work proficiently with metric and knowledgeable in Imperial Understand proper usage of hardware for cabinets (hinges, sliders, pulls, etc.) and connectors (dowels, lock dados, etc.) Knowledge of AWMAC is an asset
