Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced hands-on business analyst resource to lead the analysis of existing Sharepoint sites and associated business workflows. The role will include participating in, and in some cases lead, various initiatives as they pertain to Sharepoint and the Content Management Systems (CMS). This senior business analyst resource will work with the Infrastructure Support Group and end users to document, analyze and make recommendations related to existing Sharepoint sites. The key work deliverable is to work with their IT and business resources to document, analyse and provide recommendations for the existing Sharepoint 2013 sites. The IT Professional Resource will adhere to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s core values and working terms.
What you will be doing:
The successful candidate shall act as the prime business and technical analyst resource reviewing the current Sharepoint 2013 build. The candidate shall be expected to:
Review all existing Sharepoint 2013 sites and document the business workflows and use cases;
Analyse the business workflows in the context of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Reference Architecture and ensure agreement from the business users on the use cases
Provide a set of recommendations to TPS for each workflow including, but not limited to: migration, rewrite, or decommission.
Any recommended solution shall adhere to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s best practices and standards and align to the TPS Reference Architecture; and
Act as a hands-on resource to help build new sites as requested by the business
The successful candidate shall work with orgainzation\xe2\x80\x99s resource(s) (e.g. Project Manager, Project Sponsor) to create mutually agreed upon plan of action which will define the work tasks including effort and duration.
The successful candidate shall work with organization\xe2\x80\x99s resource(s) (e.g. QA Resource, Project Manager, Project Sponsor) as part of any effort to implement the recommended solution including, but not limited to: (1) reviewing QA defect lists, (2) Backlog management (3) Sprint Planning. (4) Hand-on implementer of new sites
What you must have:
Must have College diploma or University degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or management information systems
Must have Business analysis Certification
Must have minimum of 5 years working experience working on complex Business processes/workflow projects
Must have minimum 5 years proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling.

Experience working with Public Safety organizations.
