Job title:
Sr Business Analyst
Duration:
12 month contract
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
u Drive the analysis of current state legacy systems and modernization options
u Understand the big picture to define business capabilities and go forward roadmap
u Contribute to the development of a comprehensive IT strategy and roadmap
u Analyze and define user needs and translate them into detailed requirements/epics/user stories/data requirements/data mapping documents
u Analyze and document how systems, processes, procedures, and clients will be impacted by future development with a focus on the links between processes, systems and data throughout the organisation
u Create and/or review and provide comments on business and technical documentation
u Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation
u Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, influencing and sharing recommendations

Qualifications and pre-requisites:
u University degree in business or technology or equivalent experience.
u 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
u Experience in wealth management, life insurance or related financial services industry
u Understanding of wealth and individual life insurance products (variable annuities, mutual funds).
u Experience in IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives
u Experienced in transformational system work, moving from legacy system to modern system including systems and data integration work
u Experience working with client facing technologies/digital engagement platforms.
u Knowledge of Design Thinking principles.
u Strong analytical skills
u Strong understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements.
u Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and simply both complex business and technical concepts and align organization on decisions.
u Ability to work and demonstrate cooperation in a matrixed team environment.
u Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
