Business group: GWO - FX and Derivative Serives - Regulatory Trade Reporting - Supports the capital markets global business market team. Mandate is to ensure compliance with Securities Lending Reporting regulation 10c-1a.
Project: The bank needs to be compliant with upcoming SEC regulation 10c-1a, the rules applies to Sec Lending transactions and is deemed as US equivalent of SFTR.

Typical Day in the role:
Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation
Executing and creating test cases
Defining business solutions for the requirements
Building controls around the solution (process, database solution)
Reading rules and understanding business requirement, writing test cases
Interact with the following stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements)
25-30% in meetings/ working groups to understand how everything comes together and overall impact
Must have skills:
8+ years of relevant work experience
5+ years of recent experience as a Senior Business Analyst
5+ Capital Markets experience - Preferably Prime Services or Sec Lending background
3+ years of experience in working on regulatory projects for other equivalent regulations; namely SFTR, CAT, FINRA, TRACE or CIRO trade Reporting
Experience with Prime Services and Sec Lending products
Well balanced understanding of regulations in business and technology
Nice to have:
10c-1a rules knowledge
Working Experience and knowledge of systems such as Anvil and Global One

Best VS. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be a BA with prior Regulatory and Sec Lending products experience. Recent experience with SFTR or CIRO is highly preferred, although regulatory reporting experience is a requirement for consideration. Financial/information reporting is not sufficient.
