Here\'s the impact you\'ll make and what we\'ll accomplish together

You will be joining our core Collaborative Health Record team, acting as an essential bridge between senior product management, design and our engineering teams to bring key solutions to life for the thousands of physicians and healthcare providers we serve. As Senior Business Analyst -Collaborative Health, you will work closely with the Senior Product Manager, Product Owner and Technology leads to identify, design, validate, prioritize and progress user stories through our agile product development process.

What you\'ll do

  • Collaborate with our Agile/Scrum teams to actively manage and ensure appropriate prioritization of the backlog, own agile ceremonies as a key stakeholder, to drive the product forward
  • Work closely with developers to ensure that we\'re building the right products that help our customers fulfill their business needs
  • Own and groom stories in the backlog, establish acceptance criteria, drive prioritization inthe backlog, and obtain customer validation that the product meets customer and program priorities while maintaining technical integrity
  • Organizing and facilitating requirements-elicitation sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with Quality Assurance to ensure that the products are working to specification
  • Be an advocate for software support escalations and investigations as required
  • Creating User Stories according to the requirements, while making sure that they deliveron our high bar for usability and are actionable by Development Leads
  • Develop & maintain high quality documentation to enable optimal user experience andsupport
  • Provide industry perspective and product experience for qualifying the recommendations.
  • Leverage internal team discussions to enhance best practices, technical & functional knowledge and ensure that the same are shared across teams
Qualifications

What you bring

Bachelor\'s or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Communications, Design,Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, SAFe Agile experience a bonus
5 or more years experience in a business analysis or product owner role
3 or more years working in an agile/scrum team
A natural curiosity for problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong relationship building, negotiation and leadership skills; ability to persuade and lead a squad of diverse stakeholders
A passion for innovative solutions and trying new things to solve old problems
Advanced technical and documentation skills, including strong working knowledge of Google Workspace Apps.
Experience creating clear and concise reports and giving presentations
Demonstrated ability to deliver to deadlines, multi-task, and to re-prioritize when needed

  • Prior experience in the healthcare technology industry

  • Avid user of Slack emojis and gifs
  • An insatiable appetite for modern and emerging technologies and tools
  • Knowledge of Jira

Midpoint Base Salary: $83,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%

Actual total compensation can be above or below the listed pay, based on knowledge, skills, location, performance and experience. Depending on the position, the pay type is either hourly or salaried. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
