Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Business Analyst (Manufacturing Scheduling Analyst) to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on understanding demand, capacity and optimize ERP system parameters to maximize data accuracy and scheduling performance. This role will also focus strongly on identifying capacity constraints to drive efficiency and productivity across manufacturing operations. An ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ERP systems, data analysis, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to achieve operational excellence.
As the Sr. Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing scheduling parameters within our ERP system, analyzing historical and current data, and recommending changes to optimize shop floor capabilities. You will develop processes to curate production demand from various sources (e.g. firm orders, expected orders) to drive long-range capacity planning. Your efforts will contribute to the overall operational success of the organization by proposing initiatives to improve throughput, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure realistic alignment of ERP settings with manufacturing resources for better capacity analysis
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular assessment of demand vs. capacity - working cross-functionally to drive short and long term business decisions
Propose and implement projects or initiatives to improve scheduling performance and manufacturing workflow efficiency.
Develop, maintain, and monitor the progress of scheduling-related projects in test phases and the live ERP environment.
Perform in-depth analysis of historical data and current loaded demand to extract actionable insights.
Ensure ERP system parameters accurately reflect manufacturing capabilities and make adjustments as needed.
Identify capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and other issues, collaborating with relevant departments to implement solutions.
Recommend changes to ERP setup or shop floor operations to improve efficiency and align with business goals.
Propose new ways to group products or operations to improve throughput and visibility across the schedule.
Key Competencies:
Demonstrated experience in manufacturing scheduling, ERP configuration, and production planning.
Proficiency in data analysis using Excel (required) and Power BI or SQL (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications/Experience:
Proven experience in ERP systems setup, capacity planning, and scheduling.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, resource capacity modeling/planning, and lean manufacturing principals.
Technical proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data reporting and analytics.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities and align cross-functional teams.
