The Sr. Broadcast Buyer oversees the entire buying and implementation process for AV Investment, on behalf of the Investment Manager. This requires working very close with the wider Investment Arm, the Media Brand teams and Traffic team. This role is critical to ensuring that the overall corporate investment direction is attained through the development and execution of buys according to Amplifi processes and client deliverables.

  • The Sr. Broadcast Buyer is also accountable for the operational excellence (timeliness and accuracy) across the media billing payable process.
  • Primary responsibilities will be to work with the Investment Planners in the execution of day-to-day tasks for assigned accounts and ensure the quality of buy and process is implemented for all AV campaigns.
  • The Sr. Broadcast Buyer will also oversee the development and accurate deliverables of Media Assistants, ensuring excellence throughout the course of each campaign, and that the integrity of work continues through the course of campaigns for each client.
  • Ensures open payables for each month are monitored and that any payable discrepancies are resolved to ensure accurate campaign posting
  • Oversees the actualizes each campaign, including the negotiation of compensation for use on future campaigns
  • Delivers post campaign reporting to Media Brand, client detailing campaign actuals, highlights and compensation recommendations

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Media, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of media planning and/or buying experience focused on Broadcast Channels - TV, Radio, OLV.
  • Experience with broadcast industry tools (Lens, Infosys, DDS, AdTraq, etc.) is a must.
  • Previous people management experience with the ability to lead, coach, develop and retain top talent while having the ability to address performance.
  • High-level of confidence with an ability to manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with numbers and budgets to determine results of campaign.
  • Advanced level MS Office skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP\'s), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
