Sr. Analyst, Sales & Operations

Job Summary:

The Sales and Operations team is looking for Sr. Analyst, Sales & Operations to be responsible for monitoring the Sales and Labor performance and providing reliable and timely information and analysis to the business leaders to guide them in the decision- making process. You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain and communicate weekly sales results and analyze the trend data in order to provide guidance for the upcoming week per brand, market, store format, etc.;
• Fill in the weekly deck and communicate the results during the weekly Operations\xe2\x80\x99 meeting;.
• Perform ad hoc reporting to support the needs of the Sales and Operations team (Top and bottom performers, Market trends, business impact, etc.);.
• Responsible for the reporting and analysis of in-store contest and initiatives;.
• Update the Ready -for -Business document on a weekly basis;.
• Perform sales report for the Real Estate Department;.
• Act as the Store Force subject matter expert;
• Plan, monitor and communicate the monthly and quarterly bonus payout per store;.
• Monitor and communicate the recognition program KPI results per quarter as well as the annual performance;.
• Prepare and monitor annual budget, and run regular forecasts to monitor the Company\xe2\x80\x99s results and achievements for the departments under their responsibility;.
• Actively participate in the development of a long-term financial plan (strategic plan for 3-5 years) and support key business initiatives for the business segment under their responsibilities.
• Participate in the improvement of processes and tools in order to increase quality, reliability and reduce time of report preparation;.
• Prepare analyses and business cases using financial and non-financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Commerce with major, preferably in Accounting or Finance;
• Accounting designation (CPA) or MBA is an asset;
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting preferred;
• Retail industry general awareness is an asset;
• Strong business acumen;
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• Highly organized and efficient;
• Strong knowledge of Excel;
• Bilingual (French and English).
